Step 1: Search for patient on any screen or from the Patient Dashboard

Click the Patient Dashboard icon or use the Search Bar at the top of your screen. Search for a specific patient by typing the patient’s first name, last name, or date of birth.

Step 2: Locate and select the patient

You should see one or more patients appear in your search results. Click the correct name to open the patient's Profile. Clicking on some Columns might take you directly to the related section.

Step 3: Determine if you need to add or invite patient to Practice

From the Profile section, there will be Practices tile that will indicate which LibreView Practices, if any, the patient is part of.

You will need to determine if you should invite the Patient to a Practice or Add Patient to a Practice depending on if the patient has their Patient LibreView Account already linked to another Practice. This will be indicated in the tile above as either Connected to LibreView Patient or Invite Patient to Upload from Home.

Note: The Add Patient to a Practice will only be available if the patient does not have a Patient LibreView Account linked to a Practice you are a Care Team member for.

Step 4: Click Invite Patient to a Practice or Add Patient to a Practice

By clicking Invite Patient to a Practice, you will then be prompted to select which Practice you want to invite the patient to share their glucose data with. All the Care Team members in that Practice will also have access to this patient if they accept the invitation. Once you click the Invite button, this will automatically generate an email invitation to the patient that they will need to accept in order to grant access to their glucose data in another LibreView Practice.

By clicking Add Patient to a Practice, you will then be prompted to select which Practice you want to add the patient to. All the Care Team members in that Practice will have access to this patient. This step does not require a patient to accept any invitation since they do not have their own Patient LibreView Account.
