Why should I sign up for LibreView?
LibreView gives you clear, intuitive reports from numerous glucose devices and makes it easy to share them with your Care Team. Whether you upload your patients’ glucose device in your clinic, or they upload remotely, your patients’ glucose data are stored safely in the secure data servers and can be viewed at any time. LibreView is free and easy to set up.
Note: The patient version of the LibreView system currently works with Abbott Diabetes Care glucose devices only.
What is a Practice?
A Practice consists of one or more healthcare professionals who can view the same group of patients. When you have a LibreView Professional Account, your account is associated with at least one healthcare Practice (even if that Practice is just you). If you choose to invite other Care Team members to your Practice, they will be able to see the same patient reports that you see for that Practice.

How much does it cost?
LibreView is free. There are no initial start-up costs and no subscription payments.
What are the minimum system requirements for LibreView?
The LibreView website requires one of the following browsers:
- The latest version of Safari (Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 or higher)
- The latest version of Google Chrome
- The latest version of Mozilla Firefox
Installed on a computer running:
- Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10) or higher
- Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 Anniversary update (or higher)

Will I need special hardware or cables?
To use LibreView, all you need is a computer with internet access and the cables that connect the supported glucose device to the USB ports. No special hardware, transmitter boxes, or CDs are needed.
Will I need to have administrator privileges on my computer to use LibreView?
You will need to be logged in as the local administrator on the computer you'll be using to install the LibreView Device Drivers. The drivers allow LibreView to upload glucose data from a USB device. Domain or network administrative user roles may not be sufficient. If you are working as part of a larger healthcare organization, you may need to contact your IT team for assistance. Once you have successfully installed the LibreView Device Drivers, you will not need special privileges to run it.
Note: It is always recommended to restart your computer after installing or updating the device drivers. You will also need local administrative rights when updating the drivers.

Does LibreView work with insulin pumps?
No, LibreView currently does not support insulin pumps.
Is my patient's data safe?
Yes, your patient's LibreView account is protected by encryption. We conduct regular third-party audits to ensure that your data is safe. Learn more: Data Management Security
My clinic is not behind a firewall; instead we’re using a proxy server. Will I have an issue?
You should not have a problem using LibreView as long as you have access to the internet. The LibreView platform does not require special browser or proxy server settings to run. If you encounter an issue, please contact Customer Support.
My clinic uses other software to download other devices and insulin pumps. Can we use LibreView alongside these other systems?
Yes, you can use your existing system alongside LibreView as long as you follow the instructions to upload glucose devices for each program.
